Snippet 3 - Warren

I've often been asked why the url for this site is "www.rabbitchan.blogspot.com". Moreover is the amount of time's i've been asked why its called "The Rabbit Hole". Well this explains it all:

war·ren
n.
    1. An area where rabbits live in burrows.
    2. A colony of rabbits. See Synonyms at flock1.
  1. An enclosure for small game animals.
    1. An overcrowded living area.
    2. A mazelike place where one may easily become lost: a warren of narrow, dark alleys and side streets.
So in layman's terms it means rabbit hole, which is its most common meaning. Meaning aside however, my ex gfs all called me rabbit, so rabbit it is :)

Exam scribling...again

Written during bio, or was it chemistry? (yeap that's how much i care)

This is part of a whole list of poems entitled "Rotten Rhymes" however some of the rhymes i admit are extremely vulgar/dirty, so here's the one (yea in the end there was only one) which i think is mildly acceptable:

Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece as white as snow
Everywhere that Mary went
The sheep was sure to go.

One day she went to the butcher shop
Expecting the lamb to come
The lamb looked her in the eye and said
"Yo bitch I ain't dumb!"

Exam scribling

It seems that after every exam i produce a some sort of nonsense, be it doodles on my test paper or proper essays on an essay sheet. Well this time its a poem, it is titless (title-less, not nipple-less), and i just want to say that its kinda dirty...not that i'm a dirty person... of course :)

Pretty girls are scarce;
Pretty girls are few,
Some chicks have a very nice arse;
And some have avian flu.

So if you see a pretty girl
Catch them! Do not lag,
'Cos long without a pretty girl
You might become a fag.

The pretty ones are usually lesbs
and the sexy one's are from Bangkok.
So becareful which kind of girl you choose
Or you might end up sucking a cock.

I need professional help

Wikipedia: "Archangel (Warren Worthington III), originally and still occasionally known as Angel, is a Marvel Comics superhero, best known as a member of the X-Men"

He's going to be in X-men: The Last Stand
P.s. : Fox has already confirmed that there will be a sequel to "The Last Stand", i'm not joking.

It Was The Chance Of A Lifetime

This is an essay i wrote for the firt term english exam this year, the post here is pretty much the same as the original accept that i have made some edits and alterations to it here and there. The topic was:

"It was the chance of a lifetime..."
Write an essay that starts with the phrase above.

It was the chance of a lifetime, but it all went WRONG.

Intro

“The Knowledge” is information regarding the secrets of the universe believed to have been passed down from God to Moses together with the 10 commandments.

“The Order” is a millennium old secret organization, being the guardians of “The Knowledge” ever since the time it was first passed on to Moses.

1

50 years ago, before Coy’s reputation for devious plots and schemes became infamous, Coy was a member of the Order.

When he first joined, he thought the Order was a foundation of Good, representing everything and anything that was against Evil. However, in truth, the Order was nothing but Evil itself, throughout the millennia they had hidden the Knowledge. The Knowledge was information handed by God to man, information intended for the world. Alas, the Order was selfish, keeping the Knowledge to themselves. With Knowledge they had power, looking over man scurry around like little ants, knowing that as they pleased they could summon their power to manipulate any situation to their favour.

They looked over the world with the detachment of Gods.

The Knowledge is mankind’s most protected secret. A power, so awesome that only senior members of the Order are allowed access to it. Even so, the Order’s access is limited. It is believed that if a mortal is to view the Knowledge all at once he would consequently become omnipotent, being able to see into the future, manipulate matter, control time… Hence, each senior member is allowed only one or several extracts of the Knowledge, each extract allowing them a special skill.

Coy, smart as he was saw through the Order’s façade, upping his ranks, he quickly moved through the Order’s hierarchy. And at last, after a decade of loyal unfaltering service to the Order, his dedication paid off.

When the Knowledge was placed right before him, Coy executed his plan. His plan was fool-proof, he had planned carefully, day by day since his understanding of the Order. He had looked into the most intricate of details, putting every action into the precision of milliseconds. However, the one variable Coy didn’t take into account was betrayal.

The only other person Coy had entrusted knowledge of his ulterior motive to had betrayed him, swayed by the Order’s promises of higher power.

Nonetheless, Coy escaped the clutches or the Order with his own extract –

The Extract of Immortality.

2

Standing on the rocky plateau, Coy scanned the desolate desert below him through his XJ9-HawkVision binoculars. The desert was unforgiving, the sun stroke Coy’s back with intense fury. To the occasional passerby, this desert was just any other desert, desolate, devoid of life, The Land Mother Nature Forgot. However, Coy knew otherwise, he knew that deep below this seemingly abandoned terrain was the world’s most high-tech gadgets and weaponry. But no ordinary weapons, the institute below them focused on the paranormal, the supernatural, things often heard of but never seen.

Any other individual in Coy’s position would have quickly given up, but Coy was determined.

This was his chance, he would not miss it.

As pearls of salt stung the wounds left by unforgiving rock, Coy’s mind drifted back to the very reason to his uncomfortable position atop this plateau – the phone call.

3

Coy stared dumbfounded as his private cell line rang. Only 3 persons knew about his number- 2 of them were killed in action, the 3rd one disappeared without a trace last week.

Coy answered.

“This is Coy?” the voice spoke

“Yes it is, how did you get this number?”

“Details are not important, what is important is the information I have for you…”

As Coy hung up he could hardly believe the information he had just been told. However, Coy seasoned by many battles was cautious, and practiced proper skepticism. He immediately dispatched one of his agents to check the information’s legitimacy.

It was true.

4

The mirage of Coy’s memories was ripped through by the beeping of his klystron radar. Over the horizon, Coy could see a dust cloud emerging, coming closer and closer. Quickly, he grabbed his Hawkvision binoculars and zoomed in on the target, could it be?

Hurtling at an untold speed was the very person who had betrayed Coy so many years back. From Coy’s inside intelligence he had learnt that his once close comrade was now one of the most senior members of the Order, possessing several extracts, allowing him to travel at incredible speeds and dissipate into matter –

He could take a step into Mona Lisa as if strolling through a park.

Coy shrugged off his surprise, no matter. Regardless of the circumstance Coy was ready, the devilish trap he had set up today made all his previous works seem like child’s play. Had plan Alpha fail, plan Beta would continue, followed by Gamma, Epsilon, Zeta…the list went on. And a cruel lesson learnt from the Order - he worked alone.

Coy readied himself and put his thumb over the ignition button, this was it, this was his chance of a lifetime, and all the years of sweat and tears, all the previous failures and defeats, all of that, would mean nothing, nothing, after this victory.

The target closed into range, any moment now….Three. Two. One.

There was a flash of light and almost every weapon known to mankind was unleashed upon the target in splendid fireworks that lasted for minutes. In sequence, lasers, heat-seaking bullets, missiles, mousetraps all pierced the silence of the desert leaving a dust cloud that touched the heavens.

5

As the dust slowly cleared, Coy removed himself from the protective blanket he had hid himself under. He grabbed his HawkVision binoculars and looked down.

There it was. The Knowledge.

The sensation of victory overwhelmed Coy. The years he had spent hunting down the Knowledge had not been of waste, there, on the ground right below him was, The Knowledge.

Coy calmed himself and rushed down the plateau. This desolate wasteland now appeared as the Garden of Eden and Coy was here to pick its fruit of Wisdom.

Coy grabbed the Knowledge. This is not it.

Darkness.

6

What felt like a giant boulder (it was) had fallen down on Coy. Coy opened his eyes and shouted as the excruciating pain rushed through his body as his limbs continued to be crushed below the gargantuan weight. Coy did not want to get up, he knew that he had failed, that the whole event had yet again been another set up to further crush his will. Coy knew he would survive with the knowledge he attained from his extract, but contemplating his situation he wondered whether his immortality was more of a blessing or a curse.

Wearily, Coy lifted his head, and looked towards the two red specks of the dark silhouette staring down upon him. The figure spoke, mocking, taunting, cursing, “Yes, this was a set up, Coy” , repeating over and over again, the words further crushing Coy’s frail body, each syllable feeling like another tonne added onto his eternal pain.

He knew this was it, he knew it was over. The unmentionable scowls and cursing would not be heard by the young viewers, they would never know the truth; it would all be censored by a simple “Beep! Beep!”, and they would rejoice once again:

Wile E. Coyote failed to catch the Roadrunner.

I know this picture doesn't exactly fit the ending i had described, but while i was writing this essay i didn't have this picture did i?

East Vs West

"We are not living in a western country, DO NOT follow the western cultures. We DO NOT believe in boy-girl relationships. WE ARE ASIAN" - Ms. Lina, Head Discipline Teacher of Catholic High School.

When it comes to this comparison with western ideals versus eastern ideals i can't help thinking how behind the older generation is. My school is a perfect example of a constant struggle against the inevitable progression of the younger generation to a more liberal status. Our school's disciplinarian board has even gone to such extents as to banning "fancy" glasses. Not only are there imposing a rule on a practical necessity of many visually challenged individuals, they PURPOSELY give a vague guideline - "Fancy". Leaving the new rule as subjective as possible so that whenever they fancy, they decide what is "fancy".

The misconception of the older generation is this:

Eastern culture is NOT imitating Western culture
Eastern culture is EVOLVING

To prove this point, i shall elaborate the two things that older generation think the younger generation is imitating:

Fashion & Freedom

So what is the view of the older generation in regards to freedom? Well, they view our open-minded and rebellious nature as ill traits cultivated by western media. However they could not be more wrong. Moving towards liberality is only natural to a civilization's progression. Look at societies that are now considered to be open-minded such as britain or america, do you think they were always that way? No, have you forgotten such battles as the right to vote for women. In the olden times relationships between young individuals were deemed dastardly and unthought of. If a father were to catch a young man with his daughter late at night, he'd just pull out his rifle and shoot him!

Even in our own society itself we can see that we are way more open than we were in the old days. At least more parents now are willing to consider letting their children out for parties and outings. Our step towards a more open-minded society regarding relationships and such is but an evitable step to a more modern culture. Just like how our chinese ancestors abadones their feudal pigtails.

Then there's fashion. Now i really don't understand how they can relate asian fashion to western fashion. In the eyes of asians, the in fashion would be the "la la" or "ah beng" style (which i highly detest). Nonetheless, the so called most fashionable characters of western media are a far cry from ANYThING lala. Perhaps you may argue that letting your pants down low is an imitation of the gay american singers (boyzone), but that is as far as the similarities go. And what be it of a simple simliarity, the reason for the modernization of the human race itself is because it is a shared imitation of different facets. Such as how English is derived from many languages, such as how a simple photocopying machine has over a hundred patents.

A message to the older generation:

Accept it.

Dude, where's my hair?

I guess this should have been posted earlier, but i guess its better late than never.

I SHAVED MY HEAD

Of course i don't mean i did it myself (that's not why i bought an electrical shaver), i actually went to a hair salon to do it. Anyways, if you're wondering why, it has nothing to do with shaving out of frustration, depression or peer presure.

I did it for fun :)

I took this against one of my house walls cuz i'm meant to submit a passport sized picture of myself to the prefectorial board, IN UNIFORM.

Jimmy

Jimmy was a queer little child
The queerest you'd have ever seen;
Deep below those baby blue eyes
Was a power unforeseen.

But the power strange as it may be
Estranged and put him under a tree
But one fateful day; he wanted to be free
So he decided to flee from his misery

He struggled and wiggled
He twisted and turned
Through his moaning and shouting
Nearby villagers became concerned

And through that concern came a reply
Of an aging farmer from France named Guy
And so he ran to where the boy was in place
And brought with him a pigeon; singing in grace

Guy was he name, but guy he was not
(No, I don't mean replace "u" with "a", you silly pot)
What I mean to say actually is…
Guy was no man, he was a WITCH
...wizard

Indeed, a really fine wizard
That is if you think a chicken liver is a gizzard.
So he came with his pigeon (and lace)
Sauntering about while fanning his face (in grace)

Although with a good heart
Guy made a terrible mistake
He let out a big fart
That blew down the tree (which was fake)

Well, you see
The reason behind this fake tree
Was because in 1969
It was on sale at WitchesOnline

But let's get back to the story
We shall not stray far
By the way did I tell you?
I make lovely agar-agar

So this big fart gave the boy a start
And made him hiccup hard
And this hiccup brought all of them surprise
For then he started coughing out fries!

fries, fries, FRIES GALORE!
So much you could make a giant door
However from this, the town went crazed
For these were the times before ketchup was made.

And as the townsfolk went munching along
Guy realized his pigeon had sung the wrong song
And so he wrecked his head for the right one
While debating whether he should join in the fun

When everyone around was acting like ninnies
They seemed to have forgotten poor little Jimmy
Jimmy was tired, Jimmy was fed up
He made the rash decision that Guy set him up

Jimmy frowned and thought real hard
He then saw a puddle beside him of lard
So he picked up the soil and threw it well
Aimed at guy; and broke the spell!

With the spell suddenly broken,
Jimmy’s true form began to show,
He wasn't a boy; his secret let loose
He actually was a golden goose

With a swift and graceful swoop
Jimmy quickly flew the coop
Leaving behind the town below
With Faberges that came like snow

That was the last I saw of Jimmy
But not the last I heard
It seems that Jimmy with money and all
Has found another bird

The lucky duck or should I say lucky pigeon
Is none other than Guy’s singing companion
Jimmy and Pigeon now live in a beach mansion
Where Guy is now their eternal man-servant.

The Rules of Exams

i wrote this on the back of my bio paper

10 Rules of Exams
  1. Staring at your answer for a prolonged period will NOT make it become correct.
  2. If your changing an answer, most likely your original answer was correct.
  3. All teachers are sadistic.
  4. Mathematically you have a 25% chance, in reality its more like 5%.
  5. Remember to bring a coin.
  6. If you are unsure abot your answer - it's wrong.
  7. When you 're in a 50-50 objective question situation, you will choose the wrong answer.
  8. Luck's got everything to do with it.
  9. Leaving pleading messages for your examiner don't work (haven't tried money yet though).
  10. You most likely got the bonus question correct.

Snippet 2 - Shampoo

I was watching some ad today regarding shampoo, and then shortly after that i saw another ad regarding a conditioner:

"......sun, sweat, air-conditioning, all these elements damage your hair.........BUY XXX moisturizing shampoo"

".......shampoo damages your hair...........BUY XXX mositurizing conditioner"

Given the first 2 examples...i'd imagine if they wanted to make anymore advertisements this is how it would go:

"even after using conditioner, blow drying will damage your hair................BUY XXX moisturizing hair spray"

"moisturizing sprays don't last all day throughout the sun......... BUY XXX moisturizing hair cream to ensure vibrant hair the whole day!"

"mositurizing creams don't last at night................"

Snippet 1 - Genitals

I find it rather oxy-moronic that all parts of the female genital with names, have MALE names.

Snippets

I figure that i can't always write long entries, so once in a while i shall put out short paragraphs which i shall call "snippets"----basically its just a way for me to be lazier :)

Band Concert

After enduring michelle's bugging (magazine editor) for several days i finally decided to finish this tonight:

Btw...the concert was on the 18th of February....which explains why michelle was bugging me so badly

An Evening Of Music

A wave of clapping rushed through the entire hall as the whole audience started standing up, as if all bewitched by a spell. The soft whispers quickly progressed to a demanding chant reverberating the walls of the hall shaking its very foundation – “Encore! Encore! Encore!”

The band concert “An Evening of Music” was nothing short of spectacular. Once again the CHS Band has been successful, proving themselves master musicians, not only in flawless formation on a field, but in the professional stratum of concert music.

The band’s performance varied, from classic favourites, to modern pieces. There were times, when the listeners could feel the susurrations of the woodwinds playfully tugging at their feelings, or the bravado of the drums beating in tune with their hearts. Nothing played by the band was short of professional panache.

Speaking of professionals, the bands performance was also accompanied by a respected Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra Musician, a Canadian euphonium soloist, Kevin Thompson. Kevin and the Band’s music met in perfect harmony, to feast the audience with numbers such as “Rhapsody for Euphonium”.

However, Kevin was not the only contributor to the night’s performance. All the way from Singapore, our twinned school St. Joseph’s Institution, also gave an independent performance. With the melodious sounds of the bagpipes and the incessant beat of the traditional Scottish drums, closing one’s eyes, one could clearly picture the ever flowing grasslands of the Scottish plains.

“An Evening of Music” was not just instrumental. Our award winning school choir was also sure to be at the scene. With voices of angels, the school choir added depth and feeling to several numbers, increasing their impact to the listeners delight, leaving the lingering cry of nightingales.

The entire performance only ended after several encores by the band. At last the roaring clapping of the crowd was only overpowered by the audience’s excited chattering regarding the band’s amazing performance.

Yes, i know its alot of crap. It was nothing near to that great.

It's A GOOD Day :)

It seems that today i finally feel a little bit free, i must say today is a GOOD DAY. Finally the hours of skipping classes and the late nights of brain wracking came to some use as we won the Taylors Debate today between us and Kuen Cheng.

However, that's not the only reason i'm happy. With the free time i had i finally checked my inbox and found several emails informing me that somebody had commented on my poems. I know my poems are crappy, but i really appreciated the positive comments whether it be sincere or not :)

For Laughs

got this in an email from auntie susan, thought it was worth a read for a short laugh :)

Last night, my wife and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, "I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependant on some machine and fluids from a bottle. if that ever happens, just pull the plug."

She got up, unplugged the TV and then threw out my beer.

BITCH....

P.S. may start blogging again...
