Music in Time

Well so exams are over and as promised, this is a post:

I was sorting out my iTunes library today and i think it is interesting how my taste in music has changed over the years. So I went on a little "scavenger hunt" and found all the albums that i have ever bought...well most of them at least.

***

Note all the "TULEN" stickers.
Support the music scene, buy the original
(as if they don't get enough money already).

***

1. The first album i ever bought was Swing When You're Winning by Robbie Williams. During my "scavenger hunt" I could not find it though because my sis left it in New Zealand. I love this album and still listen to it.

So what? I'm old school :P

taken from Amazon.com

2. A few years later, when i went through my music-is-my-life stage i was listening to all sorts of mainstream crap and one of my favourite (out of the crap) was Linkin Park.

It started off with Reanimation...

...then the whole shebang.

I got over Linkin Park ages ago, and i don't have the slightest intent to buy Fort Minor.

3. Black Eyed Peas.
Elephunk is(was?) a good album.

However, Monkey Business...not that great.

4. You know, you just can't beat THE King

5. Speakerboxxx/The Love Below by Outkast
Well this album is pretty good. However the Malaysian Censorship Board sucks.
They even censored words like "gun", "prostitute", "breasts". Bah.

6. Then Ainaa introduced me to other music, such as Weezer. And my mainstream phase officially ended. Thank you Ainaa! :)

I got the Blue Album...

the Green Album...

...and of course Make Believe

I think Pinkerton is the best Weezer album. Sadly all shops were(still are?) out of stock, so i downloaded it....along with Maladroit.

***
Downloading is not stealing music,
I'm merely sharing music with my

friends

whom i have never ever seen or spoken to in my entire life.

***

7. Ainaa would send me a few songs that she thought were nice. Eventually, i ended up downloading more of their songs when i decided i liked them. ConsequentlyI would buy their albums if i could find them in shops....but sadly i couldn't find a single one, so i did the next best thing - download :D

Damien Rice

Stars

Death Cab for Cutie

Aqualung

AthleteInterpol

Note: The noir effect you get when you take a picture of a digital screen (e.g. TV or computer) is because of the fact that the digital screens are shooting out lightbeams at such a fast rate that it looks like a constant image, when in fact it is actually constantly changing. Since a camera has a..........bah i'm too lazy to explain.

8. After listening to "Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll" as well as "Midnight Show" i bought

Hot Fuss

The Killers rock!

9. Gorillaz is cool with their interesting mix of music - a bit of blues, pop, rock, rap, techno and gospels. Now that's skill.

Demon Days

So that's all pretty much where i am now number 6. onwards, and what i do realize is that very few people share quite the same taste of music as me aside from Ainaa of course, and now i've met a chic called Amira who shares the same taste as well.

Are you an Indie (its a genre, not a race) lover too?

WEIYAN - MBS vs. VI

Weiyan has talent, he really does. This is made by him 100%

*Applause*

Towards the end its just blank, so you can just stop it then.

If you like it - comment.

An Unexpected Visitor

So from homework given by auntie susan (lianne's mum) i'm meant to write an essay for every single SPM examination since 2001. And since mum says she's not going to go to Kuching til she sees me do some studies...i guess i gotta do something.

SPM Examination Paper 2005
Question 2
(c) Write a story with the title: An Unexpected Visitor

An Unexpected Visitor

It is always on dark and stormy nights like this…that remind me of that bright and sunny day when he came.

1

It was a hot sunny Malaysian afternoon, one I usually spend lazing around my apartment, too tired to move or do anything. That particular afternoon I was lying down day dreaming on my comfy bed in my air conditioned room.

Ding-dOngggg. The weird sound of my doorbell once again reminded me I’d forgotten to ask the electrician to fix it.

Ding-dO-dingg-don-ding-dOnnnggg. As if the doorbell wasn’t dead enough.
“Alright, alright! I’m coming, keep your shirt on!”

I walked towards the door and looked through the door hole to see an old man around his 60s wearing rather unusual clothing and carrying what looked like a very big chunk of metal in his hand. Usually, I wouldn’t let in senile men with metal things to hit my head, but something, something, in his eyes caught my attention and an unusual urge of curiosity made me open the door.

“Who’s this?”
“It’s urgent!”
“Oh, the toilet’s in the back.”
“No, no! I can’t believe they made me do this…”
“What?”
“Oh just let me in you bimbo”
I didn’t want the old man pee on my doorway so…
“Ah heck, c’mon in then”

As the old man walked into the room pass me I could see the man more clearly. He was a man of average size, a little shorter than I was. His features were sharp and coarse, as if this once carefree soul had been put through hard times that shaped his character. On his back was an unusual chrome backpack and upon closer observation I realized it linked down his feet and I could see its metal spine connecting through his arms.

“Hey man I don’t know what terminal disease ya’ got but the toilet is back there and after you use it, please just leave.”
“You idiot! I am not sick and I do not want to use the loo.”
He grabbed a chair as if the house was his and sat himself on it.
“Look, I am here on orders and there’s something very important to tell yo-”
Just then, the irritating sound of my doorbell rang again.

Ding-doong-ding-dong-din-do-din-do-dinnnnnnn. Okay I think it’s finally died. I stepped towards the door to open it when suddenly the crazy old man jumped on my back.

“Dude! I don’t know WHO you are but I ain’t into that Brokeback Mountain stuff you hear?”
“O just shut up, it’s them”

Wooden splinters flew over my head and dust engulfed the apartment as my beautiful apartment door was blasted to shreds.

2

In a blink of an eye the old man did something I would never have imagined, he jumped to his feet and lifted me with one arm. He then ran to the nice 24th storey apartment view I had saved up for…and jumped out of the window. We fell.

“WHAT, ARE YOU CRAZY!??”

The old man ignored my words and instead closed his eyes and an expression of concentration came over his face. Is this guy trying to pee in the air? I could see it then, the height of the 24 storeys slowly dissipating and the thin strip of tar road looking ever more like a black river. Had that not been enough, weird looking people were standing at my broken window and laser beams were flying past my head. I closed my eyes and prayed that the Kancil at the bottom had a soft roof. I passed out.

3

I woke up disorientated greeted by a very clean hospital-looking room with white halogen light flooding the space and bouncing of the walls to produce a very sterile looking environment. Where am I? Is this heaven?

“No it is not” said a voice from the back of the room. I turned around to see the old man looking back at me.
“YOU! Who the heck actually are you?”
“Calm down son, I’ll explain.”

4

“The world ends in the year 2048AD, I know, it does not seem very far away at all. The world is not ended by man as often thought or even by celestial forces. Instead we are invaded by the Venushians.

The Venushians are a highly advanced alien race bent on destruction and domination, they are immortal however lack the power to reproduce or heal. It is for this very reason that they destroy planets and galaxies in order to harness the energy produced by an imploding sun or planet. Using such immense energy they are capable of rejuvenating their frail bodies and even creating new life. In 2048AD, Earth became their target.

Although by the year of 2048AD the human race is already far advanced from the present that you live in, we are still technologically inferior to the Venushians and our weapons are rendered useless against them. I have left an imploding Earth just to see you.

In the year 2048AD, the human race is on the forefront of time travel and a crucial individual is the man who leads this research. However when the date of the Venushian’s invasion arrives all hope of the human race’s survival seems futile. However, this man sees a way. By compressing all of modern technology into microdots he takes this information into the past and introduces it to the human race, hence forming HOPE, Humans On Peril’s Edge.

It may not be a very flattering name but it is very real. HOPE’s goal is to continuously import future technology into the past and to advance it so that when the day comes we will be able to prevent the Venushian attack. Yes, the humanoids we encountered back then are Venushians. However we are safe now as we are in a 4th dimension which I created right before we hit that Kancil. We are now in HOPE’s mother base.

I am of HOPE’s 3rd generation and I am passing on the technology of the future to you. The rest lies in your hands for you are the founder of HOPE. You are going to lead the human race to further advancement and it is you for which the entire of humanity’s fate rests on.”

5

We spent a few minutes in silence as I absorbed and digested what the old man had just told me. I closed my eyes and looked up.

“How do you know I will achieve all of this old man?”
“Because I am the future you.”
I gave the old man a close look up and down.
“Ewww.”

Warren's School for the Competent

Yesterday i was at lianne's house for english tuition (her mum's an english teacher). So she made me write an essay from the 2004 SPM paper.

Essay topic:
(c) My Ideal School

Warren’s School for the Competent
After a good night’s sleep you wake up at 10am, take your time brushing your teeth, washing your face and having a proper breakfast. Then calmly -there’s no rush- you take a cab, or whatever mode of transport to arrive at school. You step out of the car eagerly awaiting another day of knowledge absorbing and look up to the gold name embossed on the high-tech modern looking building “Warren’s School for the Competent”

My school, the school which will be run by me will be nothing, nothing, like that of the common school you see today. My school will have one main difference: it will make learning fun, and may I stress here that I say “learn”, very much different from the commonly practiced, exam orientated, memorize and regurgitate system. The system that I will implement will focus on the student being able to absorb knowledge and most importantly knowing how to apply it –not just in theory, but in practical as well. Its education system will often be observed by highly-paid professionals in the field of education from all around the world. Hence, every year the system will be revised -doing away with the outdated and inadequate, and introducing newer more effective techniques. Thus, my school’s reputation for producing the elite of the country (or world) will forever be assured.

However my school’s unique education system will not be its only attraction. Besides boasting the best students, my school will also boast the best facilities. It will be fully-equipped with a gymnasium, Olympic sized swimming pool, squash courts, basketball courts, futsal fields, golf simulation bays, a 12-lane bowling alley and a field fully equipped with the proper athletic equipment, groomed daily by a team of gardeners. Sports facilities are only half of it though, I believe in making my school a haven for my students so that they love their school and view school as a joy rather than a chore, therefore increasing their love towards education. Non-sport facilities will be such as a cybercafés, an IMAX theatre, paintball fields and so forth, all for the comfort of my students.

With such facilities put at the feet of adolescents, would there not be chaos? What about vandalism? Misconduct? Misuse? Misbehaviour? Do NOT think that for a second that I will let my students run wild. My school will work on a strict disciplinary system based on respect – I respect them, they respect me. When asked about a night-time curfew on teenagers, Justice Barbara of the California Justice Department replied “What is this idea that you can curb crime by making all teenagers criminals? It is easier for a teenager to picture himself as being a criminal when he is first discriminated as one. They will be what you want them to be.” By treating teenagers as teenagers and trusting them with respect, responsibility and accountability they will naturally behave with such qualities. Of course I am aware this is a utopian idea. So if they do not behave, simply, they are expelled.

One would think that a school such as this would definitely cost one a tonne of money, being only open to the aristocracy, the high-class snobs, and the national royalty. No. My school will not be a snob house. I will not bite the bait of a blank cheque waved in front of me. My school will be free, but all the students in this school will be handpicked by my Board of Advisors and the final decision will be made by me. And the basis in which I choose my students will not be according solely on their academic results -I do not care if they manage to achieve umpteen ‘A’s in a public examination for that simply proves they are capable of studying. What I look for will go beyond examination results; I will look into the student’s character and their co curricular achievements. Furthermore, to assure only those who deem worthy are chosen, each student is given a “probation” period upon entering the school, meaning that for the first few months they will be under close surveillance.

Learning, should be fun. Learning, should be exciting. Learning, should be enjoyed. Warren’s School for the Competent will be a school which makes students want to learn instead of boring (whichever meaning you see fit) the brains of students out of their skulls. Warren’s School for the Competent would be my ideal school.

Snippet 5 - Reminisce

On the way to add maths tuition last night i was talking to mum about a dream i had, which led to a conversation about how i had worms as a child, which led to a conversation about my childhood.

As a child, i was constipated.

No i don't mean it in the current slang where people say things like "your constipated" or "ahahaha constipated!". No, i actually was constipated as in shit-not-comin-out.

I remember mum used to have to stick pills into my ass as laxatives. And she even had to put her hand in a plastic bag and dig out my crap (i love you mum!). I even remember putting the stool in a plastic bag and showing the doctor.

Ahh...the old days :)

Tian Wen thinks this pic looks constipated:
i disagree...

Well i know my hair wasn't very long, but i kinda just like keeping it short. So since the guy who shaves my head doesn't work that far away, i decided to just go to him and cut off that excess hair.

Mutants & Photos

After a very much overdue outing, Weiyan came over today so we could go out and watch X-men 3 together.

So, X-Men 3 was not bad, in fact i would say it was pretty good. However Archangel's appearance in the movie was so insignificant that i really think he does not deserve to be in the front of the poster, mind you, neither really does Cyclopes considering he dies in the first 10 minutes of the movie. There were some odd things too, like i really thought that when Xavier saw Juggenaut he would at least have said "hello" or given him a nod considering that Juggernaut is Xavier's half brother.

I must congratulate Kelsey Grammar (the guy from Frasier) for acting as Beast because i really would not have known it was him had i not been told.

Anyways, after the movie Weiyan and I stayed in the cinema to see whether there was any spoiler hidden at the end of the movie.

There was.

As you all know Xavier dies, however in the beginning of the movie he gives a lecture about the ethics of mutant power, such as assuming the consciousness of an unconscious body, and then he shows a video of this man who is a father of bla bla bla and he's in a coma.

Well the spoiler is this: the scene begins with the room of this unconscious man, the nurse taking care of him says "Good morning" and to her shock, the body replies "Hello Moira" she then looks at the body and says "Charles?". So i guess they're trying to say that Xavier is so powerful that he has assumed the consciousness of another body.

Sigh i'm bad at explanations so here's the video:

So later on we went to Baskin Robins and i used my Chinese Society card for a 10% discount and had Pralines 'n' Cream, I must say it looked rather gay for 2 guys sitting together eating ice cream even if it was seperate ice creams and we decided we should have ajak-ed either lianne or jill to have come along. (i talked to lianne tonight and found out she was at midvalley stoning because she didn't have movie tickets and we could have asked her to come...O WELL)

When we got home we played with the camera and took several shots:

Snippet 3 - Warren

I've often been asked why the url for this site is "www.rabbitchan.blogspot.com". Moreover is the amount of time's i've been asked why its called "The Rabbit Hole". Well this explains it all:

war·ren
n.
    1. An area where rabbits live in burrows.
    2. A colony of rabbits. See Synonyms at flock1.
  1. An enclosure for small game animals.
    1. An overcrowded living area.
    2. A mazelike place where one may easily become lost: a warren of narrow, dark alleys and side streets.
So in layman's terms it means rabbit hole, which is its most common meaning. Meaning aside however, my ex gfs all called me rabbit, so rabbit it is :)

Exam scribling...again

Written during bio, or was it chemistry? (yeap that's how much i care)

This is part of a whole list of poems entitled "Rotten Rhymes" however some of the rhymes i admit are extremely vulgar/dirty, so here's the one (yea in the end there was only one) which i think is mildly acceptable:

Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece as white as snow
Everywhere that Mary went
The sheep was sure to go.

One day she went to the butcher shop
Expecting the lamb to come
The lamb looked her in the eye and said
"Yo bitch I ain't dumb!"

Exam scribling

It seems that after every exam i produce a some sort of nonsense, be it doodles on my test paper or proper essays on an essay sheet. Well this time its a poem, it is titless (title-less, not nipple-less), and i just want to say that its kinda dirty...not that i'm a dirty person... of course :)

Pretty girls are scarce;
Pretty girls are few,
Some chicks have a very nice arse;
And some have avian flu.

So if you see a pretty girl
Catch them! Do not lag,
'Cos long without a pretty girl
You might become a fag.

The pretty ones are usually lesbs
and the sexy one's are from Bangkok.
So becareful which kind of girl you choose
Or you might end up sucking a cock.

I need professional help

Wikipedia: "Archangel (Warren Worthington III), originally and still occasionally known as Angel, is a Marvel Comics superhero, best known as a member of the X-Men"

He's going to be in X-men: The Last Stand
P.s. : Fox has already confirmed that there will be a sequel to "The Last Stand", i'm not joking.

It Was The Chance Of A Lifetime

This is an essay i wrote for the firt term english exam this year, the post here is pretty much the same as the original accept that i have made some edits and alterations to it here and there. The topic was:

"It was the chance of a lifetime..."
Write an essay that starts with the phrase above.

It was the chance of a lifetime, but it all went WRONG.

Intro

“The Knowledge” is information regarding the secrets of the universe believed to have been passed down from God to Moses together with the 10 commandments.

“The Order” is a millennium old secret organization, being the guardians of “The Knowledge” ever since the time it was first passed on to Moses.

1

50 years ago, before Coy’s reputation for devious plots and schemes became infamous, Coy was a member of the Order.

When he first joined, he thought the Order was a foundation of Good, representing everything and anything that was against Evil. However, in truth, the Order was nothing but Evil itself, throughout the millennia they had hidden the Knowledge. The Knowledge was information handed by God to man, information intended for the world. Alas, the Order was selfish, keeping the Knowledge to themselves. With Knowledge they had power, looking over man scurry around like little ants, knowing that as they pleased they could summon their power to manipulate any situation to their favour.

They looked over the world with the detachment of Gods.

The Knowledge is mankind’s most protected secret. A power, so awesome that only senior members of the Order are allowed access to it. Even so, the Order’s access is limited. It is believed that if a mortal is to view the Knowledge all at once he would consequently become omnipotent, being able to see into the future, manipulate matter, control time… Hence, each senior member is allowed only one or several extracts of the Knowledge, each extract allowing them a special skill.

Coy, smart as he was saw through the Order’s façade, upping his ranks, he quickly moved through the Order’s hierarchy. And at last, after a decade of loyal unfaltering service to the Order, his dedication paid off.

When the Knowledge was placed right before him, Coy executed his plan. His plan was fool-proof, he had planned carefully, day by day since his understanding of the Order. He had looked into the most intricate of details, putting every action into the precision of milliseconds. However, the one variable Coy didn’t take into account was betrayal.

The only other person Coy had entrusted knowledge of his ulterior motive to had betrayed him, swayed by the Order’s promises of higher power.

Nonetheless, Coy escaped the clutches or the Order with his own extract –

The Extract of Immortality.

2

Standing on the rocky plateau, Coy scanned the desolate desert below him through his XJ9-HawkVision binoculars. The desert was unforgiving, the sun stroke Coy’s back with intense fury. To the occasional passerby, this desert was just any other desert, desolate, devoid of life, The Land Mother Nature Forgot. However, Coy knew otherwise, he knew that deep below this seemingly abandoned terrain was the world’s most high-tech gadgets and weaponry. But no ordinary weapons, the institute below them focused on the paranormal, the supernatural, things often heard of but never seen.

Any other individual in Coy’s position would have quickly given up, but Coy was determined.

This was his chance, he would not miss it.

As pearls of salt stung the wounds left by unforgiving rock, Coy’s mind drifted back to the very reason to his uncomfortable position atop this plateau – the phone call.

3

Coy stared dumbfounded as his private cell line rang. Only 3 persons knew about his number- 2 of them were killed in action, the 3rd one disappeared without a trace last week.

Coy answered.

“This is Coy?” the voice spoke

“Yes it is, how did you get this number?”

“Details are not important, what is important is the information I have for you…”

As Coy hung up he could hardly believe the information he had just been told. However, Coy seasoned by many battles was cautious, and practiced proper skepticism. He immediately dispatched one of his agents to check the information’s legitimacy.

It was true.

4

The mirage of Coy’s memories was ripped through by the beeping of his klystron radar. Over the horizon, Coy could see a dust cloud emerging, coming closer and closer. Quickly, he grabbed his Hawkvision binoculars and zoomed in on the target, could it be?

Hurtling at an untold speed was the very person who had betrayed Coy so many years back. From Coy’s inside intelligence he had learnt that his once close comrade was now one of the most senior members of the Order, possessing several extracts, allowing him to travel at incredible speeds and dissipate into matter –

He could take a step into Mona Lisa as if strolling through a park.

Coy shrugged off his surprise, no matter. Regardless of the circumstance Coy was ready, the devilish trap he had set up today made all his previous works seem like child’s play. Had plan Alpha fail, plan Beta would continue, followed by Gamma, Epsilon, Zeta…the list went on. And a cruel lesson learnt from the Order - he worked alone.

Coy readied himself and put his thumb over the ignition button, this was it, this was his chance of a lifetime, and all the years of sweat and tears, all the previous failures and defeats, all of that, would mean nothing, nothing, after this victory.

The target closed into range, any moment now….Three. Two. One.

There was a flash of light and almost every weapon known to mankind was unleashed upon the target in splendid fireworks that lasted for minutes. In sequence, lasers, heat-seaking bullets, missiles, mousetraps all pierced the silence of the desert leaving a dust cloud that touched the heavens.

5

As the dust slowly cleared, Coy removed himself from the protective blanket he had hid himself under. He grabbed his HawkVision binoculars and looked down.

There it was. The Knowledge.

The sensation of victory overwhelmed Coy. The years he had spent hunting down the Knowledge had not been of waste, there, on the ground right below him was, The Knowledge.

Coy calmed himself and rushed down the plateau. This desolate wasteland now appeared as the Garden of Eden and Coy was here to pick its fruit of Wisdom.

Coy grabbed the Knowledge. This is not it.

Darkness.

6

What felt like a giant boulder (it was) had fallen down on Coy. Coy opened his eyes and shouted as the excruciating pain rushed through his body as his limbs continued to be crushed below the gargantuan weight. Coy did not want to get up, he knew that he had failed, that the whole event had yet again been another set up to further crush his will. Coy knew he would survive with the knowledge he attained from his extract, but contemplating his situation he wondered whether his immortality was more of a blessing or a curse.

Wearily, Coy lifted his head, and looked towards the two red specks of the dark silhouette staring down upon him. The figure spoke, mocking, taunting, cursing, “Yes, this was a set up, Coy” , repeating over and over again, the words further crushing Coy’s frail body, each syllable feeling like another tonne added onto his eternal pain.

He knew this was it, he knew it was over. The unmentionable scowls and cursing would not be heard by the young viewers, they would never know the truth; it would all be censored by a simple “Beep! Beep!”, and they would rejoice once again:

Wile E. Coyote failed to catch the Roadrunner.

I know this picture doesn't exactly fit the ending i had described, but while i was writing this essay i didn't have this picture did i?

East Vs West

"We are not living in a western country, DO NOT follow the western cultures. We DO NOT believe in boy-girl relationships. WE ARE ASIAN" - Ms. Lina, Head Discipline Teacher of Catholic High School.

When it comes to this comparison with western ideals versus eastern ideals i can't help thinking how behind the older generation is. My school is a perfect example of a constant struggle against the inevitable progression of the younger generation to a more liberal status. Our school's disciplinarian board has even gone to such extents as to banning "fancy" glasses. Not only are there imposing a rule on a practical necessity of many visually challenged individuals, they PURPOSELY give a vague guideline - "Fancy". Leaving the new rule as subjective as possible so that whenever they fancy, they decide what is "fancy".

The misconception of the older generation is this:

Eastern culture is NOT imitating Western culture
Eastern culture is EVOLVING

To prove this point, i shall elaborate the two things that older generation think the younger generation is imitating:

Fashion & Freedom

So what is the view of the older generation in regards to freedom? Well, they view our open-minded and rebellious nature as ill traits cultivated by western media. However they could not be more wrong. Moving towards liberality is only natural to a civilization's progression. Look at societies that are now considered to be open-minded such as britain or america, do you think they were always that way? No, have you forgotten such battles as the right to vote for women. In the olden times relationships between young individuals were deemed dastardly and unthought of. If a father were to catch a young man with his daughter late at night, he'd just pull out his rifle and shoot him!

Even in our own society itself we can see that we are way more open than we were in the old days. At least more parents now are willing to consider letting their children out for parties and outings. Our step towards a more open-minded society regarding relationships and such is but an evitable step to a more modern culture. Just like how our chinese ancestors abadones their feudal pigtails.

Then there's fashion. Now i really don't understand how they can relate asian fashion to western fashion. In the eyes of asians, the in fashion would be the "la la" or "ah beng" style (which i highly detest). Nonetheless, the so called most fashionable characters of western media are a far cry from ANYThING lala. Perhaps you may argue that letting your pants down low is an imitation of the gay american singers (boyzone), but that is as far as the similarities go. And what be it of a simple simliarity, the reason for the modernization of the human race itself is because it is a shared imitation of different facets. Such as how English is derived from many languages, such as how a simple photocopying machine has over a hundred patents.

A message to the older generation:

Accept it.

Dude, where's my hair?

I guess this should have been posted earlier, but i guess its better late than never.

I SHAVED MY HEAD

Of course i don't mean i did it myself (that's not why i bought an electrical shaver), i actually went to a hair salon to do it. Anyways, if you're wondering why, it has nothing to do with shaving out of frustration, depression or peer presure.

I did it for fun :)

I took this against one of my house walls cuz i'm meant to submit a passport sized picture of myself to the prefectorial board, IN UNIFORM.

Jimmy

Jimmy was a queer little child
The queerest you'd have ever seen;
Deep below those baby blue eyes
Was a power unforeseen.

But the power strange as it may be
Estranged and put him under a tree
But one fateful day; he wanted to be free
So he decided to flee from his misery

He struggled and wiggled
He twisted and turned
Through his moaning and shouting
Nearby villagers became concerned

And through that concern came a reply
Of an aging farmer from France named Guy
And so he ran to where the boy was in place
And brought with him a pigeon; singing in grace

Guy was he name, but guy he was not
(No, I don't mean replace "u" with "a", you silly pot)
What I mean to say actually is…
Guy was no man, he was a WITCH
...wizard

Indeed, a really fine wizard
That is if you think a chicken liver is a gizzard.
So he came with his pigeon (and lace)
Sauntering about while fanning his face (in grace)

Although with a good heart
Guy made a terrible mistake
He let out a big fart
That blew down the tree (which was fake)

Well, you see
The reason behind this fake tree
Was because in 1969
It was on sale at WitchesOnline

But let's get back to the story
We shall not stray far
By the way did I tell you?
I make lovely agar-agar

So this big fart gave the boy a start
And made him hiccup hard
And this hiccup brought all of them surprise
For then he started coughing out fries!

fries, fries, FRIES GALORE!
So much you could make a giant door
However from this, the town went crazed
For these were the times before ketchup was made.

And as the townsfolk went munching along
Guy realized his pigeon had sung the wrong song
And so he wrecked his head for the right one
While debating whether he should join in the fun

When everyone around was acting like ninnies
They seemed to have forgotten poor little Jimmy
Jimmy was tired, Jimmy was fed up
He made the rash decision that Guy set him up

Jimmy frowned and thought real hard
He then saw a puddle beside him of lard
So he picked up the soil and threw it well
Aimed at guy; and broke the spell!

With the spell suddenly broken,
Jimmy’s true form began to show,
He wasn't a boy; his secret let loose
He actually was a golden goose

With a swift and graceful swoop
Jimmy quickly flew the coop
Leaving behind the town below
With Faberges that came like snow

That was the last I saw of Jimmy
But not the last I heard
It seems that Jimmy with money and all
Has found another bird

The lucky duck or should I say lucky pigeon
Is none other than Guy’s singing companion
Jimmy and Pigeon now live in a beach mansion
Where Guy is now their eternal man-servant.

Aside from being as modern as KLIA, Doha Airport is the most multi-racial airport i have ever been too, in one glance you can see different faces - caucasians, europians, arabs, indians, chinese, just to name a few.

The Rules of Exams

i wrote this on the back of my bio paper

10 Rules of Exams
  1. Staring at your answer for a prolonged period will NOT make it become correct.
  2. If your changing an answer, most likely your original answer was correct.
  3. All teachers are sadistic.
  4. Mathematically you have a 25% chance, in reality its more like 5%.
  5. Remember to bring a coin.
  6. If you are unsure abot your answer - it's wrong.
  7. When you 're in a 50-50 objective question situation, you will choose the wrong answer.
  8. Luck's got everything to do with it.
  9. Leaving pleading messages for your examiner don't work (haven't tried money yet though).
  10. You most likely got the bonus question correct.

Snippet 2 - Shampoo

I was watching some ad today regarding shampoo, and then shortly after that i saw another ad regarding a conditioner:

"......sun, sweat, air-conditioning, all these elements damage your hair.........BUY XXX moisturizing shampoo"

".......shampoo damages your hair...........BUY XXX mositurizing conditioner"

Given the first 2 examples...i'd imagine if they wanted to make anymore advertisements this is how it would go:

"even after using conditioner, blow drying will damage your hair................BUY XXX moisturizing hair spray"

"moisturizing sprays don't last all day throughout the sun......... BUY XXX moisturizing hair cream to ensure vibrant hair the whole day!"

"mositurizing creams don't last at night................"
